Compressed Air Pipe Installation

ACL Engineering Ltd have more than 40 years’ experience in the design, specification and installation compressed air piping systems. From small pipework modifications or repairs to complete new ring mains we can offer a solution to meet your needs.

Piping systems

Our highly skilled team can offer the installation of compressed air pipework in a range of materials, the most popular being the AIRnet piping systems or Press-Fit in a variety of materials including:

  • Aluminium Piping
  • Stainless Steel Piping
  • Galvanised Steel Piping
  • Carbon Steel Piping

AIRnet

The choice of materials used for your compressed air pipe installation depends on several things including your existing pipework, the environment and cost. Our number one compressed air piping system is Atlas Copco AIRnet aluminium.

Aluminium has become the industry standard for complete compressed air piping systems because it is both anti-corrosive and lightweight and easy to handle. AIRnet aluminium piping system is easy, safe and quick to install compared to traditional welded and threaded systems.

ACL Services

ACL Engineering can advise on, supply, fit and maintain the most appropriate air compressor piping material for your system requirements.

Layout

Layout is important for the optimum performance of your air compressor system. The right layout will ensure that you get quality compressed air delivered to your systems at the correct pressure.

Installation

Using the correct pipe is vital. The diameter of the pipe must match the volume of air pressure required to adequately power your devices and machinery. Incorrect set-up can lead to increased energy costs and machinery wear. We aim to minimise sharp angles and elbow fittings to maintain a constant pressure.

Maintenance

Much as your air compressor will benefit from scheduled maintenance, so should the associated pipework be tested for leaks and performance-checked. Don’t assume that once fitted it’s a fait accompli. Maintaining your pipework will extend the life of your system and help keep a handle on energy costs.
