PROJECT: Atlas Copco GA VSD+ with Energy Recovery
ACL Engineering were approached by a World Leader in the manufacture of silicones, based in Oxfordshire to assess their existing compressed air system and usage.
Following our initial survey we then carried out a 3 week data logging exercise to cover their different shift patterns and usage, we also wanted to be 100% sure that the results with indicative of their usage patterns and demands.
The customer also wanted built-in energy recovery options which the Atlas Copco range of GA screws offer as standard.
We installed two GA30VSD+FF variable speed drive air compressors with integrated energy recovery, Galvanised pressure vessels, the new CD adsorption dryer complete with line filtration and all piped together with degreased stainless steel pipework and fittings.
